Electrical Apprentice Support
Electrical Apprentice Support
Louise has spoken extensively about the tragic loss of her brother Michael due to a workplace electric shock. Apprentice 121 are proud to share equipment and knowledge about safe isolation. This is the reason why and Louise explains far better than I ever could.

My mission: to reduce the number of people who die or are injured in preventable workplace incidents. Not singlehandedly. Working together with you.
Why? Because having suffered the loss of my wee brother in a preventable workplace electrocution, I don't want it to happen to anyone else. My hope is that through telling Michael's Story the loss of other lives or loved ones will be prevented.
And it was lovely to have the work I've done so far recognised by being voted SHP's Most Influential Person in Health and Safety 2018: https://www.shponline.co.uk/louise-taggart-named-shps-most-influential-person-in-health-safety-for-2018/
I am also a trustee on the board of safety charity Scottish Hazards, which operates a Centre plugging a gap in the provision of occupational health and safety advice, support and training to workers (0800 0015 022). Work continues to secure long-term funding.
And I use the skills I learned during 13 years as an employment lawyer in crafting my presentations and mock trial workshops.
Together let's make this world a safer place to work and live.
